Popular Nigerian broadcaster Rufai Oseni has gotten social media users talking after he openly chided the Ambassador of Israel to Nigeria, Michael Freeman, on live television, telling the Ambassador not to interrupt while he was speaking.
In a viral footage shared on social media, Oseni was listing the alleged crimes Israel has committed amid the ongoing conflict with Iran.
“I don’t expect you to come here to accept that Israel has nuclear weapons, and we’re giving you the facts. But it’s for you to deflect.
Also, you were talking about Israel being a saint in all of this. I mean, we can go back historically, and I can tell you about the King David Hotel bombings…,” Oseni said
At this point, Freeman interjected and was about to address Rufai's remarks. It was at this point Rufai cut it off and asked him not to interrupt.
“Do not interrupt me, ambassador. Let me finish,” the broadcaster says firmly in the clip
The interaction has got social media users talking with many describing Rufai's attitude as rude and disrespectful. Others however do not see anything wrong with how he spoke to the ambassador.
