The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, has reacted to a trending video of a man raising alarm over houses being built on a canal at Orchid Road in the Lekki area of the state. 

 

 

 

The man showed a part of the canal that had already been sand-filled for structures to be built on them.

 

 

 

Reacting to the video, the Commissioner described it as ‘’illegal construction' and stated that the state government would take action.
