The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has accused Asari Dokubo, former militant leader of defrauding him N20m.

 

Recall Dokubo had continued his verbal attacks on the Biafra leader.

 

Asari Dokubo accused Nnamdi Kanu of standing against the restoration of Biafra.

 

While accusing the IPOB leader of using the “Biafran struggle” as a business venture, Dokubo claimed Nnamdi Kanu has been diverting funds meant for the Biafran cause.

 

Dokubo had said: “They are now telling us India, Russia etc. This is how they audit accounts. This is what Biafra will look like under Nnamdi Kanu.”

 

“They claim that they brought money to Cotonou to give to me — N20 million. We are waiting for them to bring the evidence. They came to Cotonou to meet with me and I hosted them. They did not bring a dime.

 

“How is that an audited account? Why do Igbo people allow you, a conman, to be conning them? Igbos, you have to rise. He wants to destroy Onyeama. He wants to destroy Ekweremadu. He wants to destroy everybody and the Igbo people are keeping quiet.

 

“Biafra is your business now, you have no other avenue for gainful income. It is a pity how Igbo people have fallen for this evil, but your time is up.”

 

In a chat, Nnamdi Kanu asked the former Niger Delta militant to stay off Biafra agitation and concentrate on being a pipeline security guard.

 

He wrote: “Tell him I don’t even react to Buhari talk less of a hungry filthy p*g that conned me of 20M Naira.

 

“When world leaders or respected commentators talk about Biafra, I respond. I can’t dignify a petty pipeline security guard with a response. He should focus on his business ventures and leave freedom fighting to freedom fighters.

 

“For a man of his bloated stature to belatedly realise that his father is Fulani, tells you all you need to know about him.”
