Grammy winner, Burna Boy was allegedly beaten up at a club on Monday, June 14, by boys loyal to Obafemi Martins, a prominent Nigerian footballer. 

The assault on Burna Boy looked like a reprisal attack, according to industry watchers.

 

Burna Boy received an award winning slap of the year from one of the boys during the altercation, according to Cutie Juls, who claims that club goers came in to mediate and settle the the misunderstanding.

According to confirmed sources, the singer was allegedly beaten into a stupor, and it took the intervention of some club patrons to save the situation by calming Oba’s boys, who appeared to be ready to beat up the entire Burna Boy’s boys who accompanied him to the club.

It will be recalled that a few months ago, there was a report on Burna Boy’s behaviour to Obafemi in a nightclub in Lagos, where one of Burna’s boys slapped Oba Goal.

 

Wizkid, who was partying with Burna and friends last night during the vengeance, slapping drama, immediately fled the scene as it became more violent with slaps flying left, right and centre.
