As his clash with Burna Boy continues, socialite Cubana ChiefPriest has vowed to ensure that embattled singer, Speed Darlington aka Akpi, regains his freedom today, January 6.
Recall that Speed Darlington has been in police custody since November 2024 after he was rearrested by the police for jumping bail in a case that involved Burna Boy. Burna Boy had written a petition against Speed Darlington after insinuating that Burna's closeness to embattled American singer Diddy got him the Grammy he won in 2021.
Akpi has been in police custody since then despite a court injunction authorising the police to release him on bail unconditionally. Akpi even spent Christmas and New Year celebrations in police custody.
