“Yes, there was an attack in our community yesterday, and a young man, a farmer, was k!lled. His name is Bitrus Dakwan. He was k!lled last night, Sunday, October 2, 2025, following the attack in the Kubon community in Kombun District of Mangu Local Government by Fulani herdsmen,” Maikwudi said.
“The young man was in his house when the attackers came and k!lled him. He was still mourning his elder brother, who d!ed last month after he fell sick.”
He attributed the quick response of villagers and security agents to having prevented further casualties
The community leader lamented the plight of innocent villagers.
